4 lb lean back spareribs
1 c ketchup
1/2 c water
1/2 c vinegar
1 large onion, minced
3 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp salt
2 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp lemon pepper seasoning

Cut ribs into serving size portions and place in Dutch oven or deep saucepan. Cover with boiling water. Simmer 45 min. Meanwhile combine remaining ingredients to make basting sauce. Drain ribs. Place on outdoor barbecue grill about 6" above coals. Baste with sauce frequently and turn often. Cook until meat is no longer pink inside (about 20 min).
