2 Tbsp margarine
1/4 c chopped onion
1 1/4 c cubed, peeled potatoes( about 2 medium)
1 c water
1 tsp instant chicken bouillon
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp white pepper
1 can (12oz) evaporated milk
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
3/4 lb cod fillets

In medium saucepan melt margarine; add onion and lightly saute, about 3 minutes. Add potatoes, water, bouillon, salt and pepper. bring to boiling, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Cut fish into 1 inch pieces. Transfer potato mixture to blender; cover and blend until smooth. Return to saucepan. Stir in milk and nutmeg. Add fish. Cover and simmer gently intil fish flakes, about 8-10 minutes; do not boil.
