2 cloves garlic
1/2 c. olive oil
1 can flat anchovy fillets
1 tbsp. parsley, chopped
dash salt
4 tbsp. seasoned bread crumbs, toasted
1 lb. angel hair spaghetti

Directions:
Directions:
Saute garlic in oil until it starts to color, remove and discard. Add anchovies, crushing them with a fork so they dissolve in the flavored oil. Add parsley. Cook pasta in a large pot of salted, boiling water until al dente. Drain, add to sauce and toss briefly. Transfer to serving dish. Sprinkle with toasted bread crumbs.

My grandmother always served this on Christmas Eve. When I was a child, we were not allowed to eat meat on Christmas Eve.
