1 c. raisins
3/4 c. water
1 c. margarine
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. hot water
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. oatmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer raisins and water 5 minutes. Cream margarine,sugar,and eggs. Beat until fluffy.
Add raisins and 5 T. juice from cooked raisins into the egg mixture. Dissolve soda in hot water (I use the juice from the cooked raisins) add to the mixture. Sift flour,salt,and cinnamon
and add to mixture. Stir in oatmeal. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes.
