1 box Zatarain's dirty rice mix
1 green pepper, diced
1 red pepper, diced
1 large spanish onion, diced
3-4 cloves garlic, diced
1 lb. sausage (sweet italian/jimmy dean etc.)
1/2 lb. ground beef

Directions:
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef/sausage in large frying pan, drain
2. In same large frying pan, add a small amount of olive oil and diced vegetables, season with salt and pepper; set aside in bowl
3. Put rice mix and water according to box in same large frying pan, heat until boiling (it says to add an optional tbsp of olive oil, since the veggies have olive oil on them, I usually skip it)
4. Mix in veggies and meat, cook according to package directions. -- DONT OPEN THE TOP OF THE PAN ONCE IT IS COOKING - the rice needs time to steam
