2 cup sugar
1 cup diluted cider vinegar
1 T celery seed, chopped
1 head cabbage, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
4 carrots, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar and vinegar together over medium heat for 15 minutes (be careful do not let mixture boil over). After dressing cools, pour over vegetables and sprinkle celery seed before serving.

This recipe is a favorite and is used annually for the coleslaw for Maple Syrup Festival and Harvest Festival Dinners. Coleslaw made with this dressing freezes well. Enjoy!!
