1 lb. round steak
12 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. flour
1/2 c. cornstarch
1 tsp. baking powder
water

Directions:
Directions:
Cut steak into bite-size pieces. Mix salt, pepper, flour, cornstarch and baking powder. Mix eggs, and enough water to make a batter. Mix steak into batter; add one piece at a time to hot oil. Fry until gold brown. serve with Sweet-Sour Sauce and rice.
Sweet-Sour Sauce:
1 c. pineapple juice,
1 1/2 c. sugar,
2/3 c. catsup,
2 tbsp. soy sauce,
1/2 tsp. salt,
1 c. cinder vinegar,
7 tbsp. cornstarch, and
2/3 c. water.
Combine first 5 ingredients of sauce in saucepan; bring to a boil. Add vinegar, Blend cornstarch with water; stir into mixture. Cook until thick. This can be frozen.
