Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. (2 cups) elbow macaroni (we use whole grain)
1/2 cup each chopped green bell pepper and sweet onion
2 8oz. cans tomato sauce
1 cup water
1-1 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt, pepper, garlic, and Italian seasoning to taste
1-2 tbsp. vegetable oil (olive oil not as good for this!)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook ground beef in skillet (a large square electric skillet works great with this recipe) until it loses redness. Drain fat. Remove beef from skillet. Add vegetable oil, onion, bell pepper, and macaroni to skillet and sauté until onion and macaroni appear glossy. Return meat to skillet along with remaining ingredients. Stir thoroughly. Cover and simmer about 25 minutes or until macaroni is cooked to taste. Yields 6-8 servings (except for Bush kids who engage in "contest-eating"!). Freezes well when cooked.
