"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
Wash and trim the fresh beans or drain the canned beans.

Heat the oil and butter over medium heat in a sauté pan. Add the green beans, garlic, onion, salt/pepper and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring often.

Toss in the tomatoes and parsley and saute another 3 min. Remove and serve immediately.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is a recipe that I came up with. The tomato should just barely cook a little so they're hot and a little soft. I sometimes use a chopped tomato instead of grape tomatoes, especially in the summer when I get fresh from my lovely neighbors who garden so I don't have to.
