4 cups Blackberries, fresh or defrosted at room temperature
1 cup Bisquick or Self-Rising Flour
1 cup plus 1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
3/4 cup Milk
1 Stick Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Melt butter in a 2 quart casserole dish. Combine 1 cup of sugar, flour, and milk, and pour into melted butter without stirring. Combine blackberries with 1/2 cup of sugar and salt, and add to casserole dish without stirring. Bake for 50 minutes or until golden brown.

Gary, Rachael, and I ate this delicious desert on a Sunday night when she was home from Tuscaloosa during the spring of her senior year. I used blackberries that Gary and I picked at a local berry farm.
