Ingredients: 1-10 oz pkg (4 cups) mini marshmallows or about 40 large marshmallows 6 cups crisp rice cereal 3 Tbls butter

Directions:MICROWAVE METHOD Put butter in a large bowl and set microwave to 3 min at med heat. When butter is melted add the marshmallows and stir to coat with butter. Set microwave to 2 min at med heat. Stir, heat 1 min at med heat, stir till the last of the marshmallows melt. Maybe 1 more min but it shouldn’t need it. Stir in the cereal and continue as normal.
SAUCEPAN METHOD In a good sized saucepan melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and melt over med heat until melted. As soon as they have melted stir in the cereal quickly.
Be patient and melt the marshmallows slowly. I’ve found that getting to hot makes the marshmallow get hard and stiff when the treats have cooled. I like them soft and a little gooey.
Butter the pan you'll be putting them in. I also butter my fingers so that when I press them into the pan it doesn’t all stick to me.
