1 chocolate cake mix (Milk chocolate or German chocolate)
1 can pie cherries
3 eggs, beaten
12 oz Cool Whip – plain or vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the cake mix, pie cherries, and eggs together. Put it in a cake pan and bake 30-35 min at 350*. Cool completely before frosting.

Use the Cool Whip as frosting

I got this recipe from Tim's mom, Lucille. I'm not generally a big fan of cherries but this is really a moist delicious cake. Perfect with the light whipped topping for frosting.
