4-5 lb. beef chuck roast
2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup of balsamic vinegar
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
2 cloves garlic
1 or 2 pints of cherry tomatoes

Directions:

Whisk together all the ingredients and add too the bottom of a slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Remove roast and shred with fork. Return to the juices in the slow cooker.

Serve with mashed potato or a hearty pasta noodle.

This is one of Doug and Kaylyn's favorite dishes. I serve with homemade pasta usually. I asked Doug once if he enjoyed this dish. His response was," Does a bear shit in the woods?".
