3 1/2 c. elbow macaroni (uncooked)
2 1/2 c. milk
2/3 stick margarine
2 lbs. Velveeta

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni until tender. (Do not overcook.) Drain and rinse in cold water. Meanwhile, melt cheese with milk and margarine. Place macaroni in buttered casserole dish or 9x13 inch pan. Pour melted cheese over pasta. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover and bake at 325º for 30 to 45 minutes. Stir and serve.

This was a popular dish in the wheat harvest fields. The recipe was doubled and put in a large roasting pan for the harvest crew.
