1 lb ground beef or pork or chicken
2 30 oz (large) cans chili beans
1 onion diced
2 15 oz can chopped tomatoes
1 can tomato juice
2 Tbls chili powder - use to be 3 but 3 was too spicy
1 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp black pepper
1 can corn (optional)

Directions:

Brown meat, saute onion till tender, add all the other ingredient (not the corn), simmer

just before add the corn and heat through.

original recipe was from Grandma Silvia - I modified a little

To make smaller batch use 15 oz cans of chili beans and 1 - 2 (8 - 12 oz) cans tomato juice. Because I like tomatoes I use the same amount of can tomatoes
