4C UNCLE BENS Converted Rice
1 bag wide egg noodles
1.75 sticks Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Turn oven on to 400°. Place noodles on edged cookie sheet. Place cookie sheet in oven – set timer to 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, using a fork, move noodles around the sheet. Make sure to pull out of the corners – they brown more easily. Every 30 seconds or so check and turn noodles till all are a golden brown. Remove from oven – let cool and boil noodles according to instructions. Cook rice according to instructions including 1/4 stick butter in water.

Mix rice and noodles into a large covered casserole dish. Add 1.5 sticks butter cut into pieces. Salt and pepper to taste.

These reheat very well. Sprinkle a bit of water over the noodles, cover and heat to desired temperature.
