Dough:
1 qt. milk - part canned
1/2 c. lukewarm water
1 1/2 pounds of butter or margarine
2 T. salt
6 T. sugar
6 eggs, slightly beaten
3 cakes yeast
5 pounds of flour
Filling:
3 1/2 pounds of sweet butter, rendered
6 cups of flour or enough to make spreading consistency
1/4 T salt
4 eggs, beaten to brush on dough

Use exactly the same method from the Lawasha recipe to make the dough. After rounds are through rising, roll out, place filling in lower half of round. Spread out with knife ' making about 1/4 inch thick. Cover with upper half of round, like a turnover. Crimp edges with fork. Decorate with design or just fork pricks. Brush with beaten before placing in oven. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if you like. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 F for 20 minutes or until nicely browned.
