4-5 bratwurst – other large linked sausage works well too
1 can black eyed peas, rinsed and drained
1 can green beans, drained
3 sm potatoes, cubed
1 sm onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
32 oz chicken stock
1 Tbls tabasco
2 Tbls ketchup
1 Tbls Worchestershire
½ tsp thyme
Salt & pepper
1/4 cp flour - optional

Directions:
Directions:
Cut up your bratwurst into bite sized pieces. Place the bratwurst pieces into a crock pot. Rinse the black eyed peas, let them drain and add them to the crock pot. Drain the green beans and add them to the crock pot.

Add the potatoes, onion, garlic, chicken stock, tabasco, Worchestershire, thyme, salt
and pepper to the crock pot. Cook on low 8-12 hrs or cook on high 3-4 hours.

For a thicker stew remove about 1 ½ cps of broth and stir in the flour. Whisk until smooth and return to the crock pot. Cook another 15-20 min to allow the stew to thicken.
