2 packets of yeast
½ cp warm water
1 Tbls sugar

1 ½ cp milk, scalded
¼ cp butter, room temp
2 eggs, beaten
4 Tbls sugar
½ tsp salt
4 cps flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the yeast, warm water and 1 Tbls of sugar in a small bowl.

Put milk in a small saucepan on the stove and heat on med until scalded. Add the butter and allow it to melt. Add the sugar and salt. Put this in a large bowl and add ½ cp flour, mix then add eggs and the yeast mixture. Stir together, then add the remaining flour. Stir until it’s a good consistency. Should be softer than bread dough but not to sticky.

Let it rise in a greased bowl till double, 35-45 min. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface, push it down with your fist and knead with a little flour 4-5 times. Let rest 5-10 min and then form into golf ball sized sections and place on a greased cookie sheet 1”-2” apart. Bake on a greased baking pan at 375* for approx. 20 min or until tops are golden brown.

As yeast bread goes this is a very easy recipe. The rolls turn out really delicious too.
