2 c. unsifted flour
1 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. water
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, salt and cream of tartar in a 2 qt. glass bowl. Gradually stir in the water and cooking oil.
Microwave on high 4 1/2-5 minutes. Stir every minute, cool and knead.
Divide into portions, add food coloring and knead again.

This is the play-dough that Miss Carolyn (grandma Hennerberg) used at Dee's Mother Goose preschool. It keeps a lot longer than the play-dough you can purchase.
