2 1/4 c sugar
16 lg marshmallows
3/4 c Pet evaporated milk
1/4 c butter or margarine
1/4 tsp salt
6 oz pkge (1c) semi sweet chocolate chips
1 c chopped nuts (optional)
1 t vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix in a heavy 2 quart saucepan the sugar, marshmallows, evaporated milk, butter or margarine and salt. Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat to a boil (mixture will be bubbling all over the top). Take off the heat. Add chocolate pieces and stir until melted. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread in greased 8X8 pan. Cool and cut into pieces.
