2 1/4 c sifted flour
1/2 tsp double acting baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 c butter (2 sticks)
1 c firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp almond extract
1 - 2 tbsp instant coffee
6 oz. package semi-sweet chocolate bits
confectioners sugar & water for glaze

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and set aside. Cream butter, add brown sugar and cream together. Blend in almond extract and coffee.
Add dry ingredients and blend thoroughly. Stir in chocolate bits.
Press firmly into greased 15" x 10" x 1" jelly roll pan.
Bake 20 - 25 minutes in a 350º oven.
Cut while warm - glaze with confectioners sugar & water glaze
