2 cups cornmeal
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/3 cups white sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 cups sour cream
1 cup butter, melted
4 eggs
1 can creamed corn
1 can whole kernel corn
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Optional: 1/2 cup diced onion

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º. Grease 9 X 13 baking dish.

Mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt and baking soda together in a large bowl. Add sour cream, butter, eggs, creamed corn, whole kernel corn, cheese and onion (if desired), stir until fully incorporated. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven until a tooth pick inserted in the center of the cornbread comes out clean 30 to 35 minutes.
