1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs, well beaten
2/3 cup sour milk
2 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 large orange
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup raisins (ground)

Directions:
Directions:
Squeeze orange; mix juice with powdered sugar and set aside. Grind pulp and peeling twice; grind raisins once. Cream together the sugar and shortening; add eggs and sour milk and stir until well mixed. Add flour and baking soda and mix well; add orange pulp and raisins and blend well. Bake for approximately 20 minutes in a 350º oven. Cool slightly before pouring sweetened juice over it.
