1 cup butter
1/2 cup buttermilk
4 tablespoons cocoa
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda

Frosting:
1 cup + 2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons vanilla
6 tablespoons cocoa
1 3/4 lbs. powdered sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
l cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and cocoa in saucepan. Mix flour, sugar, and baking soda together; add butter & cocoa and mix. Add buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla and beat well. Pour into greased jellyroll pan. Bake at 350 for 25 min. Check with toothpick. To make frosting: heat butter, cocoa & buttermilk to boiling; remove from heat and add vanilla, sugar and stir in nuts. Frosting will appear runny but will thicken as it cools. Freezes well.
