Ingredients:
Russet potatoes
garlic, salt, black pepper
Heavy cream or milk, butter

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and cut potatoes in 1-1 1/2 inch cubes, place in water, add generous amount of garlic, cut in small pieces crushed with salt using the flat part of the blade of the knife. (A trick of my grandmother, which allows the garlic flavor to develop) and cook til the potatoes are soft.
Let it cool a little bit then use the hand held electric "stick" to blend it, be careful not to overdue it that small pieces of potato are still present. Add the heavy cream or if you use milk, add butter, briefly blend it once more then reheat and serve with freshly ground pepper.
