2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 to 1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup boiling water
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together sugar, flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder. Make a well in batter. Put in eggs, oil and buttermilk. Mix all together. Don't overmix. Add 1 cup boiling water while stirring with mixer. Add vanilla at the end. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.
