1 can Queen Ann cherries in heavy syrup
pinch of salt
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. wine or apple cider vinegar
1/2 c. Karo syrup (white)

Directions:
Directions:
Bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Thicken slightly with flour in water. Add 1/2 c. slivered almonds. If using on a roast pour over roast and baste occasionally. Serve in a side dish if using on stuffed chops. I used a little red food coloring.
