For the meatballs:
1 Lb ground beef
1 c. Diced onion
1/2 c. breadcrumbs
1/2 c.parmesan
2 eggs
1tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
2 TBS Vegetable oil for frying
For the sauce:
1 large can crushed tomatoes
1 c. Diced onion
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp salt
1 tsp itallian seasoning
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes- optional-

1 box of pasta cooked per package in a large salted pot of water

For the meatballs: Lightly mix ingredients. Roll into 1 inch balls or use a small cookie dough scoop. Place on cookie sheet. Heat vegetable oil in a non stick fry pan, sauté half of meatballs turning after 4 min. Make sure not to crowd pan and that meatballs do not touch while frying. This will brown them, not steam them. Remove from pan, repeat with last half of meatballs when the meatballs are finished and set aside, sauté 1 c. onion. After 4 min, add in tomatoes,garlic, salt, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes and bring to a boil. Then add in meatballs. Simmer 20 min. Pour over prepared pasta.
