4 lemons
1/2 to 3/4 cups sugar
4 cups cold water

Limeade
Use 2 limes and 2 lemons, increase sugar to 1 cup

Orangeade
Use 2 oranges and 3 lemons, use 1/2 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cut lemons into very thin slices; remove seeds. Place in large bowl; sprinkle with sugar. Let stand about 10 minutes; press fruit with potato masher or back of spoon to extract juice. Add water, pressing fruit until well flavored. Remove fruit slices, serve over ice. If desired, garnish with lemon slices.
