4 cans French style green beans, drained or 1 lb. frozen green beans
1 tsp. salt
½ lb. Swiss cheese, crumbled or cut into small pieces
1 C. sour cream
1 T. butter
1½ T. flour or 1 T. cornstarch
1 T. sugar
Pepper, to taste
¾ C. crushed cornflakes

Melt butter; add flour, salt, sugar, pepper, cheese, and sour cream. Cook until cheese is melted. Remove from heat; cool. Pour over beans in long casserole dish. Sprinkle with cornflakes. Bake for 15 minutes at 375º.
