Cut and rinse beans, pack tightly into clean quart jars, put 1 teaspoon regular salt into each jar. Fill with water to 1 inch from the top, making sure to wipe jar to remove any salt from the rim. Add seal and ring, place in canner, fill will water to cover tops by 1 inch. Boil covered for 3 hours, remove jars from canner and cool on dishtowels until all are sealed. You will hear the jars pop as each one seals.
