4 strips of bacon, chopped
1 small head of cabbage, roughly chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 small onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the bacon in a skillet until brown, remove to a paper towel lined plate. Remove all but 1 to 2 tablespoons of bacon grease from the pan, add cabbage, cooking over medium heat till coated with the grease, add in 2 tablespoons butter until melted. Add chicken broth to remove the bacon bits from the bottom of your pan, cook for 15 minutes, add the onion, salt and pepper to taste. Cook until desired consistency, adding more broth if needed. Top with the crumbled bacon before serving.
