Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 loaf crusty / French bread
6 eggs
2 cups milk
3/4 cup half & half (or milk)
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Topping:
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
pinch of flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons cold butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cut bread into cubes or tear into small pieces. Place in a greased 9x13 baking pan. In a medium bowl whisk together eggs, milk, half and half, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour over bread in pan. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 350º. In a small bowl combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and sugar. Cut butter into small pieces and mix with flour (I usually add more flour) and mix until it resembles small crumbs. Sprinkle over the bread in pan. Cover and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 20 minutes. Check by inserting knife in middle to see if it's done. (I use less sugar than the recipe calls for).

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Nielson kids named this "Love Sac Stew" because the chopped bread looks like the inside material of a Love Sac bean bag! Conference and Christmas morning tradition.
