1 pkg of frozen berries (He used blackberries)
1 1/3 cup of sugar
2 tsp of vanilla
1/2 cup flour
1 stick of butter
1 pkg of pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
place one pie crust in bottom of 9x12 cake pan, bake according to directions, sometimes I don't put a crust on the bottom
Coat frozen berries with sugar and flour in a zip lock bag.
Place berries in pan
Pour melted butter and vanilla evenly over the berries
Lattice top of crust.
Sprinkle lattice with sugar
Bake at 350 for 1 hour
You may broil the last 5 minutes

Dad used to make this every year for the fire dept and police dept. I think that's why we never got any speeding tickets.
