4 c. flour
1 heaping tbsp. Crisco
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. sugar
1 package dry yeast
1 cup warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, yeast and warm water together. Set aside until yeast begins to foam. Mix flour, salt, and Crisco together. Add in yeast mixture. Kneed dough for about 5 to 10 minutes. Form dough into a ball and allow to rise in a greased mixing bowl. Once dough has risen to double in size start spreading it out on greased baking sheet. Once you have worked the dough around the pizza pan, allow to rest for 15 to 20 minutes. Add sauce, toppings and cheese. Bake in hot oven 425 degrees until golden brown on bottom.

This dough can also be used for fried dough. After you let it rise, cut palm size pieces, flatten, then deep fry. Turn dough to cook both sides. Remove from oil and dust with confectionary sugar or cinnamon sugar mixture.
