1 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped and divided
2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon flat leaf parsley, chopped
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1 to 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon dried dill weed

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk together the buttermilk and mayonnaise, then add the rest of the ingredients and seasonings. Reserve 1 teaspoon of the chopped chives for garnishing the top. Whisk the mixture until the ingredients are fully incorporated and no lumps remain. Chill well for at least 4 hours before serving.

The finer you chop the chives and parsley the better they will incorporate into the dressing and the more the flavor will be released.
If you like a thicker dressing, decrease the buttermilk by 1/4 cup and increase the mayonnaise by 1/4 cup.
