spinach greens
green onion, chopped
cucumber, diced
fresh strawberries (or blueberries or other fresh fruit)
caramelized slivered or sliced almonds



Dressing:
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash pepper
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons raspberry vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon parsley, optional
dash red pepper sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Combine salad ingredients. Combine dressing ingredients. Stir to dissolve and pour over salad. Add caramelized almonds and serve.

To make caramelized almonds, add 4 tablespoons of sugar to a heavy pan and heat (low) to melt. Add 1 package of almonds and stir to coat. Cool on waxed paper and break into pieces.
