1 quart (4 cups) Strawberries sliced
1/4 C. sugar
2 1/3 C. Original Bisquick Mix
1/2 C. Milk
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine (melted)
Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 425º f. In large bowl mix strawberries and 1/4 C of sugar, set aside.
2. In a bowl add Bisquick mix, milk, 3Tbsp of sugar, and the butter. Stir until soft dough forms.
3. On ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by spoonfuls. Then bake 10 to 13 minutes or until golden brown.
4. Remove shortcakes from oven, allow to cool for 5 minutes.
5. Split warm shortcakes, then add strawberries on top.
