1 can (10 1/2 oz) condensed tomato, cheddar cheese, cream of vegetable, celery or mushroom soup
1/2 c water
1 lb ground beef
1/4 c fine dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp. minced onion
1 tbsp. minced parsley
1 egg slightly beaten
1 tbsp. shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Blend soup and water (Cheddar cheese soup should be stirred to smooth first). Measure out 1/4 c mixture and combine with beef, bread crumbs, onion, parsley and egg. Shape into meatballs 1 1/2" in diameter (about 16). Brown meatballs in shortening and pour off excess drippings. Add remaining soup mixture. Cover. Cook over low heat 15 min and stir often.
