1/4 cup butter
2/3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups finely chopped nuts
4 beaten eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
confectioners' sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Line bottom and sides of 13 X 9 inch baking pan with foil. Melt butter in pan. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in brown sugar and finely chopped nuts. Blend in beaten eggs and vanilla. Carefully spoon batter over butter in pan. Don't stir. Bake at 350 º about 25 minutes. Don't over bake. Dust with confectioners' sugar. Place waxed paper under wire racks. Immediately invert pan onto racks to remove cookies; peel off foil. Cool. Dust with confectioners' sugar. Cut into 36 bars. Store in air tight container.
