½ c. butter (or margarine)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. ripe bananas, mashed (about 3 large)
½ tsp. vanilla
½ c. sour cream (I use fat-free)
2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
½ c. nuts, chopped (I use walnuts)
½ c. sugar
½ tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a loaf pan.
Cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs one at a time.
Add bananas, vanilla and sour cream.
Fold flour mixture (incl. powder, soda and salt) into cream mixture.
Mix together nuts, sugar and cinnamon.
Add ½ of nut mixture on bottom of loaf pan. Pour batter into loaf pan.
Spoon remaining topping on top of batter.
Bake for 45 minutes, uncovered.

This recipe either needs to be put into an extra large loaf pan, or two medium size loaf pans.
