Kiffel:
3 egg yolks
1 c. flour
1 stick butter
1 jigger whiskey


filling:
1 lb walnuts chopped or rolled with a rolling pin
3/4 c. sugar,
3 egg whites.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together all dough ingredients and hand knead, roll into a ball and refrigerate for two hours.

Make filling - beat egg whites until stiff; fold in sugar and nuts.

Roll dough into small balls on a floured board, then roll thin. Fill and shape and bake at 350 for 7-8 min.
