2 slices bacon, chopped
1/2 C chopped onion
1 large garlic clove, finely chopped
3-12/C reduced-sodium beef broth
2 C (15 oz can) great Northern white beans, rinsed and drained
2/3 C (6 oz can) tomato paste
1 t italian herb seasoning
1/2 t ground black pepper
2 C (2 medium) sliced zucchini and/or yellow squash
1 package (10 oz) frozen mixed vegetables
1/3 C dried small macaroni
1/2 C (2 oz) shredded Parmesan (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon in large saucepan over medium-high heat until crispy. Add onion and garlic; cook, stirring frequently, for 1 to 2 mins or until onion is tender.

Stir in broth, beans, tomato paste, herb seasoning and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. cover; cook for 10 mins.

Stir in zucchini, mixed vegetables, and macaroni. Bring to a boil, stirring to break up vegetables. Reduce heat to low; cook for 8 to 10 mins or until vegetables and pasta are tender. Spring with cheese.
