2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 c. Sweetened Condensed milk
1/2 c. Butter
1/2 tsp Salt
4 c. Powder Sugar
12 oz Chocolate Chips
1 TBS Crisco
60 Maraschino Cherries with stems

Directions:
Directions:
Drain and dry cherries on a paper towel and freeze at least 1 hour. Mix Vanilla,milk,butter and powder sugar. Roll about 1 tsp around cherry. Place on parchment paper and chill at least one hour. Melt Chocolate chips and Crisco in a double boiler ( see snowball recipe)

These are the best after 2 weeks store refrigerated. Always a Christmas favorite.i have made these for my dad every year for Christmas for at least the last 15 years.
