3 3/4 c. Sugar
1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 c. Water
1 TBS Anise extract
1/2 tsp red food color
powder sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Over medium heat to 300º on a candy thermometer, sugar, water and corn syrup. At 300 º remove from heat and add extract and food color . Then pour into a greased pan. Score into squares and dust with powder sugar. Cool and then break apart. Store in airtight container
