1 slightly beaten egg
1 cup flat beer
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. melted fat
1 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg with rotary beater, add flat beer gradually. Add dry ingredients and and continue beating. Add melted fat. Will cover 15 - 16 fish.

Cook in deep fat 370º. Brown on side for 8-10 minutes, then turn to other side. Lift out and drain on paper towels.

Can soak in lemon juice for 10 to 15 minutes before dipping in batter.
