2 c. hot water
1 c. of sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1- 3oz box of strawberry Jell-o
2 quarts of fresh strawberries-remove stems and cut into quarters
1 prepared ready to use pie shell (graham cracker crust or your favorite crust)
1 – 8oz Cool Whip

Directions:

-Bring water, cornstarch and sugar to boil. Cook until clear, stirring frequently.
-Remove from heat and stir in Jell-o.
-Place in refrigerator to cool for 10-15 mins.
-Prepare strawberries.
-Once Jell-o mixture has cooled, stir in strawberries.
-Fill up pie shell and refrigerate overnight or until Jell-O is set.
-Spread cool whip on top and if desired sprinkle red colored sugar on top.
