1 c butter
1/2 c chopped onion
1 1/2 c sliced mushrooms
1/2 c chopped cashews
12 c day old bread crumbs
1/2 c chopped parsley
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp sage
1/2 tsp savory

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in heavy skillet. Add onion and mushrooms and cook gently until onion is yellow and mushrooms are tender. Stir in cashews and half of bread crumbs and continue cooking gently until bread crumbs are lightly browned. Mix remaining bread crumbs, parsley and seasoning in large bowl. Add mushroom mixture and toss together lightly. Cool. Stuff lightly into prepared bird.
