1 lb Hamburger meat
1 16 oz jar of spaghetti sauce
2 cups water
1 beef bouillon cube (makes 2 cups)
1 can red kidney beans, undrained
1 cup of small pasta shells

Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the hamburger meat in a large pot. Add the spaghetti sauce, water, bouillon cube, & beans. Bring to a boil over med-high heat. Add the pasta shells & cover. Turn heat down to low & simmer for 20 minutes. Pasta should be tender. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese & garlic bread.

Your Aunt Melba introduced this dish to me when we lived in Massachusetts. For me, it became a comfort food on busy winter weeknights. I sometimes use leftover spaghetti sauce to make it.
